WHAT IS THIS
Theatre can be an immediate medium, investigating & responding in real time to the world-at-large. This week, Cincinnati-based Theater Rabble-Rousers Queen City Flash will partner with students from the James Madison University school of Theatre and Dance to create a brand-new play. In 5 days. And then perform it for you. In a mystery location. Because art should feel dangerous.

ABOUT QUEEN CITY FLASH
Queen City Flash is a community-centric theater company dedicated to open access to the arts. By untethering the performing arts from physical space, prohibitive costs and traditional theatrical expectations, Queen City Flash unites local artists with their communities to create new, impactful theatre.
Currently, our programming falls under one of three big umbrellas:
The FLASHMOBS - Free (mostly-outdoor) theater around Greater Cincinnati, with an emphasis on transforming space into a stage and introducing locals to hidden gems within their city.
COMMUNITY - Plays for a community, made with the help of that community. These include: our new, ongoing partnership with Cradle Cincinnati to help Under-resourced Mothers craft their personal narrative.
ACTIVISM - Plays that tackle local issues and national conversations. These include: Ken Ham's Journey to the Center of the Earth - A Raider's of the Lost Ark parody about Creationism, and Slut Shaming - a time travel rape adventure about teenage sexual abuse.
